To adjust the volatility, tap the "-" and "+" buttons flanking the number of "Mines", directly below the "Bet" controls. You can choose from 1 to 20 mines hidden among the 25 tiles. Fewer mines offer a lower payout multiplier and a safer setup, while adding more mines increases both the risk and the potential multiplier. "Safe Zones" become available when you play with three or more mines.

Press the large "Play" button beneath the "Mines" controls to begin. The 5x5 board contains hidden koi fish and mines, represented by X-stones. Select a lotus tile to reveal what is underneath. Each koi fish you uncover increases your winnings and advances you towards the next multiplier, but revealing a mine can end the round. Reaching a "Safe Zone" locks in the winnings accumulated up to that point.

Press the "Cash Out" button, which replaces "Play" on the right once the round is underway, whenever you want to stop revealing tiles and collect your current winnings. If you continue and uncover a mine, the round ends; however, after reaching a "Safe Zone", only winnings accumulated since the last secured zone are lost.

Press the circular-arrow "Autoplay" button below "Play" to automate multiple rounds. In the window that appears, click the "+" and "-" buttons to choose the number of rounds and "Reveals", then press "Start". The game will automatically play the selected number of rounds and make the specified number of tile reveals for you.

Press the crossed-arrows button beside "Autoplay" to reveal tiles on a random basis. Instead of choosing a lotus yourself, this function randomly selects and reveals one of the tiles on the board, leaving the outcome to the game while the usual koi, mine, and multiplier rules remain in effect.
