As a PR Specialist at Chipy, Matei is in charge of promoting communication between our platform, its community, and different casinos or game providers. He is focused on delivering the most relevant industry news to our members.

Before transitioning into PR, Matei worked as a Community Specialist on Chipy, gaining extensive hands-on experience in user-facing communication and interacting directly with the community.

During this period, he managed and responded to more than 35,000 user-generated comments and reviews and handled over 1,600 email inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent communication. This background provides him with a deep understanding of audience needs and expectations. 

This hands-on experience with direct user interaction is a significant asset to his current PR work, enabling him to craft messages and articles with clarity and empathy. He approaches communication with a practical perspective, understanding both how the audience receives information and what they are truly looking for.

Education

Matei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bucharest University of Economic Studies. His studies help him build a strong analytical foundation and an understanding of market dynamics, as well as key aspects of the IGaming industry like statistics and probability.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Communication at the same university, specializing in strategic communication and creating audience-focused content.

His academic background improves his ability to create impactful PR campaigns that are relevant to their target audience.
