Catalin Barboianu, a former mathematics teacher and current independent researcher and science writer, has been deeply involved with gambling mathematics since 2013.  

Catalin has published 10 books in this field, most notably:

His dedication to limiting the development of problem gambling is underpinned by his research in cognitive and behavioral psychology, particularly regarding how individuals understand and interact with gambling mathematics.

One of Dr. Catalin Barboianu's contributions to the field is his dedicated website, probability.infarom.ro, which serves as a resource on probability theory results and applications, including in gambling. 

Catalin is also the founder of PhilScience, an organization devoted to philosophy of science.
