Dr. Winmore Slot Features

• Scientist Theme. This online slot is themed to a zany scientist, Dr. Winmore, and his ambitious experiments. The man himself can be seen to the right of the reels, while the control panel beneath has a sort of steampunk look to it thanks to its brown metallic design and its incorporation of fans, cogs and other contraptions. The black gaming grid is semi-transparent and the background is a static image that’s mostly purple and black, with things such as robot arms and bolts of electricity visible.
• Audio. The slot doesn’t have an ongoing soundtrack that’s always playing in the background, though it does have some rather realistic sound effects that you’ll hear as you play and win.
• Line Wins. The slot uses a 5x5 grid and to win, four or more matching symbols have to be vertically or horizontally adjacent to one another. The more symbols there are in a cluster, the more you get paid.
• Cascades. If you win, after getting paid all of the symbols involved in the win vanish from the grid. The empty spaces left behind are filled by symbols dropping down from above. This is a cascade and it can cause new winning combinations to be formed. Cascades keep happening until symbols drop down and there are no new wins. There’s no limit to how many consecutive cascades you can get from a single spin of the reels.
• Multipliers. The slot has a multiplier that starts at x1 and increases by x1 for every consecutive cascade. The multiplier will be x2 for a win on the first cascade, x3 for a second cascade win and so on. It reaches a maximum value of x6 and stays at that value for all wins from the fifth cascade onwards. Whenever a cascade doesn’t produce a win, the multiplier is reset to x1.
• Special Symbols. There are four robot symbols that remove symbols in particular patterns. On any spin and on any cascade, a robot may appear. It will then remove symbols once any wins have been paid out; if a robot appears during a cascade, it will wait until a cascade produces no wins, then it will remove symbols. The four robots and the symbols they remove are as follows:
  • Blue Robot: Removes a row of symbols.
  • Yellow Robot: Removes a column of symbols.
  • Green Robot: Removes both a row and a column of symbols.
  • Red Robot: Removes all adjacent symbols.
• Symbols. There are eight regular paying symbols and all of them are designed to fit the slot’s theme. They include test tubes and beakers filled with liquids of different colours, a light bulb, a battery and a plasma ball. The symbol with the biggest payouts is the plasma ball: get a cluster of eight or more instances of this symbol and you’ll be paid 50x your total bet. Dr. Winmore appears as the slot’s wild symbol. He substitutes for all eight paying symbols and can help you form and extend winning combinations.
