How To Play The Blackjack Game

Select a gaming chip and drag it onto a ‘PLACE BET’ space. There are several different chip sizes you can choose from: 0.20, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, 5.00, 10.00, 20.00 and 50.00. Mascot Gaming’s Blackjack game lets you bet on up to three hands at a time. For each hand, you can bet with between 0.20 and 50.00 and you can use multiple chips of different combinations for every one. When you’ve got your bet(s) placed, click on ‘DEAL’ and the dealer’s hand will receive two cards, as will all hands you’ve placed bets on.

The game follows the standard rules of blackjack. Your objective is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over 21. All hands you bet on are played against the dealer’s one hand individually. Six standard decks of 52 cards are used in this game. They’re shuffled together before being dealt. All number cards are worth their face value, while the three royals (king, queen and jack) are worth 10 and the ace can be worth 1 or 11.

Once cards have been dealt, their values are totalled. All cards are face-up except one of the dealer’s. It’s possible for a hand to get a natural blackjack, which is where a hand has an ace and a card worth 10. If this happens, the hand worth 21 automatically wins against all hands with lower values.

All your hands are dealt with one after the other before the dealer’s. For each one, you have several options:

• Hit. One extra card is added.

• Stand. You decide not to add any more cards.

• Double. You double your bet and one extra card is added to your hand, then you stand on that hand.

• Split. If both cards have the same value, you’re allowed to double your bet and split your hand in two. Each new hand receives one extra card, so you end up with two hands of two cards each. If you split a pair of aces, each new hand is only allowed to have one extra card added to it.

If a hand exceeds 21 in value, you lose the bet you’ve placed on it. Once you’ve dealt with all of your hands, it’s the dealer’s turn. The dealer has to follow set rules: if their hand is worth 16 or less, they must hit; if their hand is worth 17 or more, they must stand.

Once the dealer’s hand has been dealt with, the winner is whoever is closest to 21, providing no hands go over 21.

Blackjack Game Features

• Casino Theme. This game of blackjack is designed to a rather high standard. It has realistic, detailed graphics that make it seem just like you’re looking down on a typical blackjack gaming table in a land-based casino.

• Audio. This game of blackjack has relaxing and rather quiet lounge-style piano music playing in the background. It gives the game quite a classy vibe.

• Payouts. Blackjack’s payouts are as follows:

  • Natural Blackjack: 3:2

  • Win: 1:1

  • Tie: Bet returned to you

  • Insurance: 2:1

You’re paid for each hand based on how that hand fares against the dealer’s. Insurance is an optional side bet you can place if the dealer’s face-up card is worth 10. This bet pays if the dealer goes on to reveal an ace as their second card, thereby getting 21.

Playing The Blackjack Game On Mobile
