First up - What is Infinite Blackjack?
The simple version is that it’s a standard online blackjack game using a mixture of Live Dealer streaming and digitally generated cards for the players. The software is from Evolution Gaming.
The only real difference between Infinite Blackjack and a standard online game is that you don’t have to wait to play Infinite Blackjack.
The game is set up with a Live Dealer, but also each player has their own hand to play, so there is no maximum numbers of players.
Hence the name – the game is set up to allow for an infinite number of players.
And btw – we have many articles available that cover all the popular casino table games, and slots, plus many casino-related topics. They’re written by experts and cover everything from how to play blackjack for beginners to how to make a living counting cards, plus roulette, baccarat and craps. And they’re all free!
Let’s get started.
How to Play Infinite blackjack
Sign up and login to the game.
Once you have deposited some money, when the dealer invites you to place your bet, you have a limited amount of time to do it, and then the hand begins.
The dealer will deal themselves an up card and a hole card, and two digital cards are displayed on the screen.
These two digital cards are ‘community cards’ – they represent the hand that all the players start with.
The standard buttons are displayed on the screen, which allow you to hit, stand, double down, and split.
The Infinite Blackjack Rules:
- The game is dealt using 8 decks of cards
- The dealer stands on Soft 17
- Double down allowed on the initial two cards
- No double down after a split
- A pair can be split
- Only one split per hand is allowed
- Split Aces get one card only
- Blackjack pays 3 to 2.
- Insurance bet is available vs a dealer’s up card of an Ace.
These rules give the House Advantage of 0.53%, with a Return to Player of 99.47%.
Infinite Blackjack Side Bets
Infinite Blackjack also includes four side bets that are available to all the players for each hand.
They are:
Any Pair
The House Advantage on the Any Pair bet is 4.60%. This bet allows the player to bet that the first two cards dealt to the player will be a pair. It pays 8 to 1 for any pair, and 25 to 1 for a suited pair.
21+3
Is the standard popular side bet that uses the dealer’s up card and the player’s first two cards to make a poker hand in addition to the regular blackjack hand that is dealt to the player. The House Advantage is 3.70%
Here is the pay table for winning 21+3 bets:
| Outcome | Payout |
|---|---|
| Flush | 5 to 1 |
| Straight | 10 to 1 |
| Three of a Kind | 30 to 1 |
| Straight Flush | 40 to 1 |
| Suited Trips | 100 to 1 |
Examples include:
- A Flush, which is three cards of the same suit, such as the 4 of Clubs, the 9 of Clubs, and the Queen of Clubs.
- A Straight, which is three cards in numerical order, such as a 9 of Hearts, a 10 of Diamonds and a Jack of Clubs.
- Three of a Kind, such as a 5 of Hearts, a 5 of Spades and a 5 of Clubs.
- A Straight Flush, which includes three cards in sequence all of the same suit, such as a 6, 7, and 8 of Diamonds.
- Suited Trips, such as 3 Jacks of Spades. Suited Trips pay 100 to 1.
Hot 3
The House Advantage on Hot 3 is 5.4%. The Hot 3 bet is the total of your two cards and the dealer’s up card. If the total of those three cards is 19, 20, or 21, you get paid.
Three 7s get paid 100 to 1.
Here is the pay table for the Hot 3 bets:
| Outcome | Payout |
|---|---|
| Total 19 | 1 to 1 |
| Total 20 | 2 to 1 |
| Total 21, Unsuited | 4 to 1 |
| Total 21, Suited | 20 to 1 |
| 7-7-7 | 100 to 1 |
Bust It
The House Advantage on the Bust It bet is 5.83%. This is the Evolution version of the popular blackjack side bet ‘Buster Blackjack’, which gets paid if the dealer busts. The pay table is based on how many cards the dealer takes to go bust.
The top award is for an 8-card dealer’s bust hand.
Here is the pay table for the Bust It bets:
| Outcome | Payout |
|---|---|
| Bust with 3 cards | 1 to 1 |
| Bust with 4 cards | 2 to 1 |
| Bust with 5 cards | 7 to 1 |
| Bust with 6 cards | 50 to 1 |
| Bust with 7 cards | 100 to 1 |
| Bust with 8 cards or more | 250 to 1 |
Six Card Charlie
There is also the ‘Six-Card Charlie’ hand, which is an automatic winner, even against a dealer blackjack. Six Card Charlie is any hand that totals 21 or less with 6 cards. You’re automatically entered with no additional bet required. It pays 2 to 1.
Infinite Blackjack Strategy
Play Infinite Blackjack just as you would a regular blackjack game. Use a Basic Strategy chart.
This one is for a 4 to 8 deck shoe game with the dealer standing on a Soft 17.
Expert Advice: Play Infinite Blackjack and Skip the Side Bets
Treat Infinite Blackjack exactly like a regular blackjack game and avoid the side bets and you will be on your way to playing the game as well as you can.
The reason to avoid the side bets is that side bets are never the player’s friend. The only reason the casino adds a side bet is to increase their revenue.
As you can see from the House Advantages listed above, they range from 3.7% to 5.83%. The base game of Infinite Blackjack has a House Advantage of 0.53% (yes, that’s approximately ½ of 1%).
So the HA for the side bets is at least 7 times greater than the base game, and can go as high as 11 times greater than the base game’s House Advantage.
Not a good bet for the player at all.
Using the Basic Strategy chart listed above will give you the best opportunity to come out ahead.
And good luck.
