The businessman Terrance Watanabe should have understood this better than anyone: whatever happens, the casino will always win. He almost lost his entire fortune. Terrance Watanabe is known as one of the biggest gamblers that Las Vegas has ever known, he started betting astronomical sums, making him one of the biggest high rollers that the gambling capital Las Vegas has known. 2007 was a real black year for Watanabe, he lost nearly 130 million dollars in the various Vegas casinos.

Hi there!

Yes, there was a lot of controversy surrounding this topic.

According to the New York Post, Terrance Watanabe is known for having one of the biggest gambling debts ever.
He's a businessperson from Omaha who had really bad luck in 2007 when he gambled in Las Vegas. He lost a huge amount of money—$127 million.

His losses are among the highest ever seen in Las Vegas, making up a big part (5.6%) of the casinos' earnings where he played that year.

Because of these big losses, a lot of his family's money went away. He also has legal problems now because he owes money to two casinos.

He's even gone to court, saying that he was allowed to gamble even when he was too drunk.

I hope this satisfies your curiosity!
