Peter Nairn, a Renowned Casino Professional, Joins The Chipy Team

We are excited to announce that we have a fantastic professional joining our team! Peter Nairn recently started his collaboration with us, helping us grow the brand-new Chipy Academy!

Peter Nairn is a highly respected and experienced casino professional with over 35 years of experience in the industry. 

He has held executive positions in both Native American and traditional casino markets.

Casino Career - Reaching the Top

Everything started when he got a job as a dealer at the Playboy Club in London, England. He has held various roles within the casino world, including the dealer, pit boss, and even casino manager.

His career continued in the Bahamas and Las Vegas as he joined Grand Casino in 1993 and has held upper management positions, including General Manager, Vice President of Gaming Operations, Director of Casino Operations, and Director of Slots.

In less than a year he was invited to join the corporate team of Grand Casinos, where he also served as the Corporate Director of Training. Peter has a passion for guest service, team building, mentoring, and coaching.

Mastering the Games

He has specialized in table games, slot operations, and training, and has a wealth of experience in casino operations, helping clients determine their best and most profitable operating practices.

For that reason, he can easily explain complex gambling topics like blackjack strategy and how to play roulette even to a total beginner who has never set foot in a casino before.

I really enjoy being a part of the Chipy team, because there's so much misinformation out there about casinos and gambling. So, the more you know the better you'll become at the game since you'll be making fewer mistakes. Working with the team to put together this information and knowledge feels like pulling back the curtain and sharing the real story.

In addition to his experience within the traditional casino market, Peter was also involved in the rapid expansion of tribal gaming in the 1990s, assisting tribal properties with their openings and post-opening operations.

Currently, Peter does consulting work with gaming operations to help them maximize their revenues and minimize expenses, increasing EBITDA and taking more of the revenue to the bottom line.
