Dive into an insightful interview with Niklas Mravlje, the Director of Product Marketing at Bragg Gaming. 

Niklas brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront; his dedicated service has been instrumental in shaping Bragg's journey. 

Chipy: Greetings, Niklas! Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions! Could you tell us more about Bragg and yourself?

Niklas: I’m Niklas Mravlje, director of product marketing at Bragg Gaming. I’ve been working with the company for seven years in various content-related roles, which allowed me to see Bragg grow from a reseller and distributor to creating our proprietary content.

Bragg, at its core, 

is a content-driven technology company focusing on the iGaming market and the industries surrounding it. 

We are vertically integrated to deliver both state-of-the-art software turnkey solutions and top-notch gaming content to online casino operators. Bragg Gaming has acquired and created four game studios over the last few years: Atomic Slot Lab, Indigo Magic, Spin Games, and Wild Streak Gaming

In partnership with ten more exclusive or title-exclusive development studios, Bragg is dynamic, diverse, and unique in its proposition toward operators and players alike. 

Chipy: We noticed you have an impressive game catalog, centralizing products from over 14 providers. How do you maintain such a good relationship with all of them?

Niklas: This may seem tricky to balance, as different companies have different visions, goals, and objectives, but for us, it’s not. One of Bragg’s core values is working in tight collaboration with our partners

Our first and primary goal is to establish a shared vision with our partner companies that they can trust and align their goals with. Simply put, if you want to take over the world by yourself, that will be very hard, but the task becomes much easier if you have mutual trust in partners you can rely on. 

Our strategy with studio and game provider partners is to market and push them harder in markets where they can enjoy more success. For instance, Atomic Slot Lab and Indigo Magic games have been performing very well in markets such as the UK, Holland, and the USA, while a studio like GAMOMAT is very strong in markets like Germany, Switzerland, and Holland. Our strategy thus allows the studios to complement each other very nicely. 

Chipy: How does Bragg manage to stay ahead of its competition in such a competitive industry?

Niklas: Since Bragg is a large aggregator and platform provider as well, we can observe the performance of studios, games, mechanics, and themes across more than 25 regulated markets globally. 

By making efficient use of these valuable insights, we are able to guide our studios and studio partners toward the best practices and mechanics for specific markets, which puts us in a position with a very high likelihood of success. 

This is why we are able not just to follow but also set contemporary market trends.

Information and know-how, 

paired with highly motivated and experienced people behind our games, vastly help us stay ahead of the competition and leverage our games toward optimal performance and maximum success for our partners. 

Chipy: What mechanic/feature are you the most proud of?

Niklas: One of the recently released mechanics we are very proud of is the Connect & Collect feature that drives excitement in the “Cai Fu Emperor Ways” and "7 Shields of Fortune” games, both masterfully crafted by Atomic Slot Lab from Bragg Studios. 

The studio has been creating games for the online market since January 2022 and has, to date, released a total of 15 games for the North American and specifically the US market. In December 2023, the studio released its first Connect & Collect game.

This powerful mechanic changes the game's dynamic and motivates the player to look for any line combination of special symbols. They can establish winning paylines from reel one all the way to reel six, where the high-value prizes and awards are. 

Players are able this way to collect jackpots, free games, and instant cash prizes by connecting their way across the grid. It's a very unique and satisfying way to play a slot game!

Chipy: Which is your favorite game, and why?

Niklas: Now, this is a very broad question, as there are thousands of games I like to play. It depends on my mood, and I usually prefer a higher volatility game with tons of features.

I’m a big fan of the Buffalo-style games since I really like the way their features are built and how the games are always structured around big wins surrounding the evergreen Buffalo. 

Choosing from our own portfolio, I’d say Fairy Dust from Atomic Slot Lab due to its unique what-you-see-is-what-you-can-get layout that rewards tactical play and puts more power into your hands!

Chipy: How does Bragg Gaming approach responsible gambling?

Niklas: At Bragg, we believe that leadership begins with responsibility. The fact that we are present and licensed in multiple highly regulated markets testifies to our commitment to responsible gaming. 

Our solutions were among the first

that were certified for the Dutch market, where we are strongly present and which is exemplary for providing players with a pleasant experience while protecting them very strictly at the same time.

For the Swedish market, for example, we introduced a panic button that allows players to self-exclude instantly. 

To understand how much importance we give to responsible gaming, consider this: 

We are a B2B provider of games and technology, and as such, we are not in direct contact with the players.  

Despite this, we keep developing and providing all the necessary and also plenty of extra tools to uphold and support it.

Among other functionalities, our systems have detection mechanisms that get triggered by harmful activity and sets of intervention measures that immediately step in to protect the player. 

We monitor our games and our network in real-time for all unusual activity, such as a sudden increase in wagering on certain games/operators, and we let the operators know about them so they can check on their side and potentially exclude a problematic player.

We go above and beyond to implement every required mechanic and feature to ensure the long-term satisfaction of our clients and the safety of their players.

Chipy: What are some of the long-term goals for Bragg Gaming, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Niklas: Bragg’s long-term goal is to become a household name for players and be associated with some of the best game studios out there. After laying the foundations for that goal in 2022, we have thoroughly executed it since then. 

We have made a lot of progress in the USA and broader North America and have significantly grown our presence there. 

We have also started to enter new markets in Europe and close the gaps where we have yet to be present. In the USA, we aim to rank in the top 10 game providers, whereas in Europe, we want to be in the top 10%.

I’m confident that this goal is more than attainable. 

With the high-quality products we and our partners produce, 

our main objective is to bring these games in front of as many players as possible, as we are confident they will love them as well!
