How to ask a good question

Here are the best practices to ask a good question on the Chipy Q&As:

     1. Make sure your question is on-topic.

The Chipy Community is a place to ask about anything related to gambling.

You’re in the right place if you’ve got questions on topics like:

  • A specific casino problem
  • A problem about a game or a game type
  • How to play a certain game type (blackjack, craps, roulette, poker, bingo, keno etc.)
  • Game strategies and bets
  • Casino deposit and withdrawals related questions
  • Responsible gambling

     2. Search for similar questions before asking your own.

Your question may have been already answered by someone else, so make sure you browse the answers before submitting your question for review.

Please note:

Duplicate questions will not be published.

If you do find a similar question, click the "I have the same question" button.

I have the same question Button

The more interest a question gets from the community, the more visibility it gets sitewide. Plus, you will receive notifications every time someone replies to the question you’ve marked with  “I have the same question”.

    3. Only ask specific, practical, and answerable questions.

This increases the utility of the Q&As section for you and the Chipy community.

Avoid broad, open-ended questions and those that are subjective or require extended discussion. Be sure to provide enough context and background information to help others understand your question.

Remember:

You can add Tags to make the question easier to be found by other members browsing specific categories related to your subject.

This is not a discussion board, this is a space for gambling questions that can be answered.

So, make your question clear and easy to understand. Use proper grammar and punctuation, and provide specific examples or details. Use a specific and relevant title for your question and be concise, describing the actual problem you’re facing.

So, a good question follows these 3 principles:

  • It’s on-topic;
  • It’s not similar to any other question previously asked;
  • It’s specific, practical, and can be answered.
